The Gathering of Saqifah Bani Sa'ida is one of the significant stages of Islam which was set between Muslims after Muhammad's death(Peace be upon Him), to discuss the new situation which faced Islam due to the conflict between the participants of the gathering, four different direction came to existence which where
( The Ansar, the Muhajirun, the Households, Umui)
Each one of these directions were trying to get the Caliphate and they were all providing and giving prove to be the successor of the Prophet (Peace be upon Him), the westerns have talked about this subject and given their opinion about it, that is why it is important for me to give my research this title by collecting the westerns opinions and comparing theme to resources in Islam
The conflict between these tribes or directions of Saqifah had some effective conclusions, like renewing the conflict between the two tribes of Aws and Khazraj, meanwhile the abandoning of (Saad Bin Abada) to Sham then killing him clandestinely.
And the resentment of Banu Hashim household and their delay of vowing to (Abu Bakr).
But at the end this conflict ended without shedding blood, (Abu Bakr) the close friend of the prophet (Peace be upon Him), was chosen as the successor ton the prophet.
